Joyce C. Hall
Senior Pastor
Accepting her call in to the ministry in 1985, Pastor Joyce C. Hall took on the position of Assistant Minister at Overcoming by Faith Ministries where she began counseling and teaching others. It was there at Overcoming by Faith Ministries, under the dynamic leadership of Dr. Ricky Temple, that Pastor Joyce honed her gift and received strong Bible-based teaching.
In October of 1999, the Outreach Ministry of Living Hope began through a collaboration with Overcoming by Faith Ministries and the networking efforts that Pastor Joyce instituted with Living Vine, Savannah Baptist Mission Training Center, Savannah Care Center, Emmaus House, and Hitch Village Residential Association.
With a strategic focus on the urban community, Living Hope opened its doors at the West Broad Street YMCA. The committed fellowship worshiped there in the resource building for four years, targeting the housing areas and surrounding communities. Rapid growth and expansion led the congregation to its current location in Garden City with the expectation of winning more souls and making a greater impact on the community at large. It is the goal of Pastor Joyce to create a hands-on, biblically sound, evangelistic ministry that brings hope to the world.
Noted in her community as a pioneer in her own right, the call to ministry informed her that the knowledge and gifting she possessed were needed in uncharted areas. Pastor Joyce took on the awesome challenge of ministering to the lost. Blessed with a bounty of courage, the vibrant pastor wanted to address the disease of hopelessness and transform urban communities by providing them with an opportunity to experience the life changing force of Christ. It was growing up in Hitch Village, a local housing project, that God placed deep within Pastor Joyce the vision and zeal for the ministry that is now called Living Hope Community Fellowship.
Pastor Joyce C. Hall is a sought after preacher, intercessor, teacher, and evangelist. She is the devoted wife of First Gentleman Thomas Hall.
